The roots of INM can be traced to James George and his wife Charlene. In 1979, the couple began as Nail Fashions, selling increasingly popular nail charms and diamonds to cosmetologists everywhere. Eight years later, Nail Fashions evolved to become International Nail Manufacturers: a premiere company designed to meet the needs of nail technicians world-wide. James George immediately established INM as a viable competitor in the cosmetic industry by marketing high-quality products, flanked by diversity of choices and competitive prices.
INM made it’s first big statement to the cosmetic community with Out The Door Top Coat. To this day, Out The Door stands atop the industry mountain as the number-one selling professional top coat as competitors’ products cannot boast a faster drying-time without being susceptible to cracking or chipping. Building on that strong Out The Door reputation, INM introduced its Acrylic Sculpting System as a galvanising flank for the Out The Door product line.
Based in Anaheim, California, James George has amassed a winning team whose collective efforts translate into company success. Headed by General Manager David Kellenberger, the INM Team harnesses tools from all facets of business. What started as a husband wife team (Charlene passed away in 1994) now employs 100 people. Nail technicians world-wide have come to expect and anticipate top-calibre products with the INM logo.
